It’s been awhile, I’ve been lazy, and busy too…..
>> Google is coming out with a phone which anyone can create applications for(I don’t know how Google will handle rights in regard to the applications)
>> I recently got the new star wars video game: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed which is pretty awesome aside from the fact that it doesn’t have Xbox Live Multiplayer, guess for MP I have to stick with Jedi Academy…. The Story for Force Unleashed is looking very good.
>> I saw Ahmadinejad(”President” of Iran) on Larry King last night…. He IS a VIOLATOR OF HUMAN RIGHTS, contrary to the impression he gave…
>> Amanda Tapping’s Sanctuary premieres next Friday 10/3 @ 9 PM (NEXT FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Star Wars: The Clone Wars (animated film, obviously offshoot of the cartoon show) comes to theatres August 15, 2008. Naturally It is not as exciting as another Star Wars live action film would be, but it is still a big move for Star Wars! View the trailer at www.starwars.com

Star Wars is a classic example of the battle Good Vs. Evil. In the original trilogy we see Luke Skywalker and his struggle between the Light Side which represents Good and the Dark Side which represents Evil. We see that Luke is strong in his resolve and does not succumb to the Dark Side when pressured by whom he later learns further in the original trilogy is his father. Star Wars supports the age-old belief that Good conquers Evil. Even in the end Vader{Anakin, Luke’s father} being Evil for some time turns to the Light Side when he throws Emperor, his Master, down a long shaft which prevented the Emperor from killing Skywalker. This relationship between Good and Evil is validated by religion. For example at the time of its inception the Christian Faith(religion), like all religions met fierce opposition, yet today is one of the world’s most prominent religions. Hate cults like the KKK an the Nazi’s have been fading away for years. This is how Star Wars and Religion prove the dominance of Good over Evil.

Recently was the thirtieth anniversary of Star Wars. G4TV had coverage of Celebration IV. It seems that SW has many great things ahead of it, A Cartoon series and a live action series. Rick McCallum unfortunately wasn’t able to give specifics but hey there are things to look forward to. I hope it doesn’t fizz out like Star Trek kind of did.
